With it's unique non-symetrical tooth configuration, this #49 Nicholson Pattern Makers Rasp is an amazing tool that seems to defy conventional logic. It cuts fast and chatter free yet still leaves a fairly smooth finish. It's half round shape tapers at the front and makes it ideal for roughing and contouring necks, heels, solid bodies, etc. A tool that's a joy to use!
