This is basically a larger version of the Half Round Swiss Cut File with less taper. It features a "second cut" that's good for general shaping or further smoothing of roughed or rasped surfaces. One side is flat while the other side features a half round profile and a slight taper at the end for shaping and smoothing contours and profiles. Hardness of RC 66-67 for long life with minimal care. A well made, versitile file at an affordable price.
